“Finalizing Via C7M (1st gen netbooks) and Atom Pinetrail (Latest netbooks) support. Moving from 98 to 99.9% compatibility!”
The plan was the have as much support for all netbooks as possible before the full Beta. With the full Beta release, the new HTML 5 menu system should be next on the list

So still no news on a release date?
This obviously means soon, though. With 99.9% netbook support, there can’t be that much hardware-side work left to be done.
I would sure agree. I would hope possibly before February, but that’s my optimistic view
.
The last issue is Fn-F3,F4 brightness adjustment. It acting wierdly. If you don’t mind, you can access the customized xserver-xorg-video-intel with Pinetrail support on 2.6.32-6 today, except that it’s in robby-test repository at the moment.
