A new Jolicloud Beta will be announced in the fall. As of now, you can register at www.Jolicloud.com to participate (it’s invite only right now).
Currently, the folks at Jolicloud are interested if you have a device such as:
- Joli OS
- Chromebook
- Android Tablet
- Android Phone
- iPad
- iPhone
Gathering from the above, they are looking to go even more mobile than your current netbook.
Hopefully we’ll see our invites soon to give you a heads up on what’s to come.
Robby Beta Soon

As mentioned before, the final release of the Robby edition of Jolicloud will be entering full Beta status soon.

Jolicloud has finished the beta of the ‘Robby’ edition. We should have new iso’s within weeks.
Some highlights of the final beta include:
- 100% compatibility on Intel Netbooks
- Full NVIDIA ION & Broadcom Crystal HD Support
- ViaC7-M Support
- Switch to Chrome from Mozilla Prism for all web apps
- Full HTML5 support
- Fastest Firefox for Netbooks

“Finalizing Via C7M (1st gen netbooks) and Atom Pinetrail (Latest netbooks) support. Moving from 98 to 99.9% compatibility!”
The plan was the have as much support for all netbooks as possible before the full Beta. With the full Beta release, the new HTML 5 menu system should be next on the list

The full release of Jolicloud Beta should arrive at CES. CES runs from Jan 7-10 in beautiful Las Vegas, NV, USA.
This should be the change from Pre-Beta to Beta for Jolicloud.
This should have a full HTML 5 launcher, resolve issues from the Pre-Beta.
