Could Google’s new OS Chrome be a show stopper?  Most think so.  Still, others think that the netbook arena still has a few players left.  Jolicloud has stood in the forefront for quite some time as the best alternative for the netbook.

The good folks over at ThinkDigit have a review of reasons why Jolicloud is Better than Chrome.

Competition from Asus?

A new Asus Eee pad is rumored to be coming out with nVidia’s Tegra platform.   While that is news by itself that doesn’t really matter to Jolicloud – does it?  Because of Microsoft’s reasoning of not permitting Windows 7 on the Tegra platform, Asus needs an OS solution, and is rumored to be building their own OS.  Could it compete with Google’s Chrome or Jolicloud?

The next update before CES will be a Chrome installer that will function 100%.   As of now, there are hacks by using the Ubuntu software distribution network, but will turn into a one click install soon enough.
