Dell has released a new Mini 10 to the lineup in the U.S. – the Dell Mini 1018.

This new Dell features:

• Intel Atom N455 Processor
• Intel GMA 3150 Graphics
• 1GB DDR SDRAM
• 160GB + HD
• 10″ 1024×600 Display
• Windows 7 Starter

This new Dell will not feature the Broadcom Accelerator card

Dell has added a new option to the Mini 10.   Only available on the newest 10, the 1012 (with the latest Atom Pinetrail), the Broadcom Crystal HD Accelerator card is now available.

Broadcom’s Crystal HD Accelerator card will allow for HD playback with the latest version of Flash – 10.1 Beta 3.

• Customization
• Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator

He dislikes:

• Touchpad
• Bloatware (McAfee – it was a Win 7 Starter Edition version of the Mini)
