Want to have the Weather at your disposal any time you’re on your netbook?   Install the Weather application to the menu bar at the top.

Normally, you would right click the top panel, and click on Add to Panel…

However, there is no menu space to add in.   There is a work around though.   Right click on the CPU Scale icon, and un-check the box for Lock to Panel.   Once the item is unlocked, right click again and click on Move.   Now move this icon further to the left than any other item.   Once you have some spacing, you can right click in the blank area and Add to Panel.

Add in the weather application, or any other panel app.   After you have added in your new apps, right click that CPU Scale icon from before, move that back to it’s original location, and then right click and lock it back to the panel.

Now you have Weather all the time in your panel.
